About Me

I am a 56 year old woman, with 2 adult children, 5 grandchildren and one recent great-grandchild. I was married for 35 years, but now divorced. Happily. It was difficult to start life over at my age, but with each passing year, I become the woman, I always wanted to be. By the way, since my profile picture was taken, I have lost over 100 pounds. Will get a new one up as soon as I get the camera out. I believe the weight loss was due to getting out of an unhappy marriage. As I said, I am becoming the woman I always wanted to be, even if it's later on in my life. It's never too late to reach for your dreams....

    Hi Heather, Congratulations on moving on in such a positive way. Also a big congratulations on the weight loss. I lost 51 lb and gained 35lb back. Now I struggle again.

    Hi and welcome! It's amazing you were married that many yrs., so glad you have the new attitude and fortitude to go forward, good for you! I have 9 Paint horses and live nmear Yosemtite Nat'l Pk, CA.I'm a little older then you and have 2 kids and 11 grand kids.(combo of mine and my husband's!)
