Hi Everyone,
Pollyanne and Tara are now on the cams. They will be coming in in the evening and be on the cams at night until they foal. Tara already has a pretty large bag. She kept us guessing for so long last year and it wouldn't surprise me if she did it again this year too.
I'm sure that Midnite will be happy to have them inside at night. I did see her eating at the hay feeder with Pollyanne this afternoon so they are finally accepting her again.
I'll be keeping you updated on the ladies. If you see anything we should know about, please give us a call.
I hope you all have a good night.

Hi, Beth,
It is me Debbie, I was the one who called, and she was laying flat on her side, head down, legs stretched outright, until something woke her, it looked like to me, I know not to call unless the mommies are in that position, hope all is well, just thought better to be safe!! I will be watching from here on out, and hope all goes well, I think she was probably just asleep, but didnt want to take any chances, and have something go wrong for you and her...... have a great evening~~~

Hi Debbie,
I really do appreciate the call. There is no way that we can watch the mares 24/7 and it's great to know that others are helping us. Thanks!

Debbie,
You did exactly what Beth has asked us to do. I'll tell you that I was a little worried when I saw Tara laying flat out like that, especially for the length of time that she remained that way. That is unusual to see. You were right to call.
Tara is passing some loose stools tonight and seems like she is a bit uncomfortable. With her record of making us all wait and wait and wait for the birth of her last foal...I would be surprised if she gave birth early. But you are right...she does look very uncomfortable. Wouldn't that be a surprise to everyone if she foaled out in the next couple of nights?
Well...back to watching the cams. I am SO addicted Debbie. I just love having the opportunity to watch the miracle of birth and watch that baby stand on their wobbly legs for the first time. It's awesome.
Have a good night, Debbie.
